Many people ask us where the name "No Sugar Please Inc." comes from. Through our education and training, we became aware that 'sugar' is in almost everything we consume; in fact you could almost consider it a drug.  In fact anything ending in 'ose' on an ingredient list is a sugar.  Here are some of the many issues associated with sugar consumption:

• Sugar causes food allergies.
• ONE teaspoon sugar can suppress the immune system for 6 hours.

So in our opinion, the name "No Sugar Please" really does say it all!

Besides the sugar aspect, nutrition levels are also declining.  Based on stories such as that documented by “SuperSize Me”, "Empty Harvest", "The Future of Food" and "Food Inc.", it is evident people are becoming increasingly aware of the poor state of their food.  People are frustrated because they don't know where, what and how to change.  Allergies are also on the rise and much of this has to do with the poor food quality,  additives, current lifestyles, the environment and pollution.
