allergy symptom removal questions:

what is an intolerance / allergic reaction?

An intolerance refers to a non-immune system response ranging from a minor irritation to an extreme reaction. The substance in which our body reacts to, which is generally non-threatening, is viewed by our body as a threat to our general well being.

A Medical Allergist’s definition of allergy: “a reaction to an otherwise harmless substance, food or environmental, that results in an immune system response”. This reaction consists of the release of histamine, leading to an inflammatory reaction.

A Holistic Allergist has a new definition of allergy: ”a bioenergetic counteraction to a given substance which results in abnormality or a reaction within in the body”.

how are the allergy symptoms eliminated?

Based on an ancient Chinese belief that energy runs through the body in pathways called "meridians" acupuncture is now a widely recognized health related modality.  It is through these bio-energetic meridians that the brain and nervous system receive information about the state and functioning of the body as a whole.  Modern electro magnetic imaging devices and radioactive tracer isotopes have confirmed the presence of these pathways.

BioEnergetic Intolerance Elimination (BIE) is the method used.  A lightweight hand held device is used to transmit a low electronic frequency (10 Hz biphasic, 5 microamp) directly onto various acupuncture points (without the use of needles) on the body to stimulate and clear any blockages in energy.  During this procedure the client is exposed to the allergenic substance in glass vials.  While the blockages are clearing, the body's cells are literally being reprogrammed to recognize the allergen's frequency.  When this non-invasive and painless procedure is complete, the body will no longer see the allergen or intolerance as a threat when exposed to it; therefore, no longer producing any adverse reactions.    Click here to see the BIE Video

are there any side effects from the procedure?

When the body has been freed of an intolerance or allergy to which it has been exposed to in the past, any damaged tissues will begin to break down and reabsorb back into the body.  The odd headache, sore throat, sinus congestion, tired or lethargic feeling, aches and pains or even nausea are all usually signs of the body regenerating new cells and cleansing itself.  This is known as a "healing crisis".  A healing crisis can start the day after the session up to 3 weeks in some cases, and may last from 1 to 28 days.  In fact, they may appear to be getting sick.  This is actually a good sign, not a bad one.  The body is merely re-experiencing the same symptoms, temporarily, as it now returns on the uphill road, throwing off and eliminating toxic wastes.

how soon will I notice results?

It is much easier to regulate ingested sensitivities, rather than that of environmental sensitivities due to the fact that there are literally thousands of potential environmental allergens that one can inhale or absorb through the skin.  However, there are potentially hundreds of chemical food additives we can ingest as well. Most people find immediate results after the first visit, while others require several visits to detect and remove all suspect causes, particularly if an individual has many intolerances.  In extreme cases, those with severe intolerances have reported a 4 to 6 week period lapsed after their session before feeling complete relief of their symptoms.

How long will I be free of any intolerance once I have had it removed?

It requires only 1 to 4 sessions to clear an allergy/intolerance in minutes. Approximately 75% to 80% of intolerances are cleared the first session.  However, depending on the degree of intolerance, and stress level of the client, amount of bodily toxins and the strength of the person’s immune system, the others may require a second, third or, rarely even a forth session. Once the intolerance is removed, you will most likely never experience symptoms from the same substance again.

anaphylaxis and BIE

We clear anaphylaxis allergy symptoms as well, however, we strongly urge you to seek approval from your medical doctor/allergist before you ingest, inhale or expose yourself to any substance to which you have been previously diagnosed as anaphylactic. It  is a common occurrence to show a more severe reaction from your scratch, intradermal or RAST test from your doctor after your BIE session.  From our observations, we predicate that this is merely due to one of 2 reasons:

a) The substance bypasses the first line of defense when it is administered directly into the skin or bloodstream using a scratch test or intradermal test. The pre-programmed IgE antibodies immediately react strongly to the invading allergen. It usually takes time for your body to reprogram your immune system to recognize the substance before complete recovery can be achieved. There may be anywhere from a 3 to 24 month delay before your medical doctor's test shows a negative response to the anaphylactic substance.

b)  RAST, intradermal or scratch tests can often be inaccurate. These tests often show a false "negative" or false "positive" test result. This is not due to err from your doctor, but merely from the test itself.

We suggest having your medical doctor's allergy test at least 6 months after your BIE sessions and also after complying to any recommendations from your Holistic Allergist.  (A minimum of 3 separate sessions are required in cases of anaphylaxis).  Click here to see the BIE Video

does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture is done with extremely thin flexible needles made of stainless steel and silver alloy.  There is nothing 'special' about the needle; it is a tool to balance body energy.  There is sometimes a brief pain as the needle passes through the skin.

how does acupuncture work?

No one really knows.  As theories evolve from generation to generation, the secret behind acupuncture will not easily be solved.  For this reason, it will remain a mystery for many generations to come.

what can acupuncture do for me?

There are three main things that acupuncture can do for you.  These are pain relief from all sorts of different kinds of pain that the body can produce, preventing the pain from coming back into the body and heal the body from the pain.

when was acupuncture found?

Acupuncture is an ancient system of healing.  The earliest acupuncture books were written 4,500 years ago.  Acupuncture began with the discovery that the stimulation of specific areas of the skin affected the functioning of certain organs of the body.  It evolved into a system of healing as the connection between the skin and organs became better understood leading to more sensitive methods of stimulation.

what can you do about low back pain?

Low back pain is the area that we specialize in.  Through the insertion of needles at various points in the body the body relieves that pain in the lower back by balancing the energy flows.  You can read a non-biased report on acupuncture for back pain by clicking here! 

Energy blockages in the back cause pain and by clearing these blockages  the pain stops.  At the same time, we strengthen the immune enhancing points!  This immune enhancing technique helps to strengthen the body's immunity - which is extremely important in today's society as we are exposed to viruses such as the swine flu.  This technique is unique to No Sugar Please!

What is it?

Widely used in China for many years to prevent the onset of wrinkles and facial lines, Cosmetic Acupuncture increases the blood and energy flow to specific facial areas to hydrate, plump up and boost the supply of nutrients and oxygen to them.

Does it last forever?

No.  Generally, the treatment should last for three to five years, at which time you would need to revisit your acupuncturist.

iridology questions:

What can be done once there have been problems found?

There are many remedies that we can give to you once we have determined what your problems are.  These remedies can be composed of herbs and physical activities.  Also, we will be making recommendations of foods that you should try to wean off.

Is it true that through iridology, you can determine emotional stress as well?

Yes.  Psychological stress can also be determined using iridology.  For example, we could determine whether or not you currently have fear and anxiety or, perhaps, you’re irritable and depressed.

How and why does everything show up in the eye?

This is truly nature’s gift to us.  Through the study of your eyes, we can determine ailments that you have received 20 years ago to present day to 20 years into the future.  And these ailments could affect every organ in your body.  From heart to arm to leg to stomach and so on, it will clearly identify areas of concern to you.

My husband has colitis (a digestive disease characterized by inflammation of the colon).  Can you determine this using iridology?

Your husband probably has a lot of stress in his life, which is the primary reason for this kind of condition.  By looking into his eyes, we can tell just how stressed he is and we can give him herbs to calm everything down.

How long does an appointment take?

Usually ½ an hour to a full hour is sufficient for us to go through everything that we have found with you.

what are the benefits of nutritional coaching?

For many years, we thought that the foods we were eating were healthy.  By most parent standards, it was.  We rarely ate out and we bought our foods from the closest grocery stores.  However, after enrolling in this nutrition program, we discovered a whole lot of wrong in what we were putting into our daily meals.  We have since revamped our entire kitchen contents and feel great!  We have increased our energy levels just from the foods that we eat.  We are now ready to pass on that information to others.
